Aquacell systems use a series of treatment technologies and processes to purify wastewater, making it suitable for non-potable reuse. The non-potable reuse applications are most often toilet and urinal flushing, landscape and lawn irrigation, cooling tower makeup, trap priming and fire suppression.

Photo: MIRA SF, a 392-residence luxury condominium, has one of only two Greywater Recycling Systems permitted to operate by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. The G20R Aquacell system is capable of recycling up to 5,000 gallons of grey and rainwater per day, which can be reused for toilet flushing and landscape irrigation.
How Aquacell Works
Aquacell® collects the sewage/greywater generated on site, purifies it (without the use of chemicals) making it available again for toilet flushing and irrigation, or as a contribution to the surrounding environmental flow.
Other systems “treat” or “dispose” of “wastewater”. Aquacell believes no water should be considered as “waste”.
Aquacell range of water recycling plants provides high-quality non-potable water for re-use in single homes, multiple-dwellings, resorts and commercial buildings, and are customized to meet client’s needs and situation.
Pre-engineered systems are available with capacities ranging from 1,000 gallons per day to 250,000 gallons per day and custom designed systems are available for larger applications.
Systems are available for above-ground and below-ground installation, for sewage and/or greywater.
